Currently the Chair of the Department of Architecture at Parsons School of Design, Peter Wheelwright (pwheel@newschool.edu) has taught in architecture programs at Columbia University, Cooper Union, and Parsons School of Design. In addition, he has been a visiting critic at schools of architecture across the country. While he has taught design studios for many years, he has also been instrumental in developing curricular focus in environmental studies. He writes and lectures on issues related to environmental philosophy and history, natural/technological issues in architecture, and sustainable practices.
